အစိုးရ ျပည္ေထာင္ စုျငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရး ေဖၚေဆာင္ေရး လုပ္ငန္းေကာ္မီတီသည္  တိုင္းရင္းသားလက္နက္ကိုင္ အဖြဲ႔အစည္း မ်ားႏွင့္ တႏိုင္ငံ လံုးအပစ္ အခတ္ရပ္ စဲေရး စာခ်ဳပ္ ခ်ဳပ္ဆိုေရး အတြက္၄င္းတို႔ခ်ဳပ္ ဆိုလိုသည့္ စာခ်ဳပ္ မူႀကမ္းကို ျပီးခဲ့သည့္ ဇႏၷာရီလ အကုန္ပိုင္း တြင္ ကရင္ အမ်ဳိးသားအစည္း အရံုး (KNU) နယ္ေျမ ေလာခီးလာ စခန္း၌ က်င္းပေသာ ဒုတိယ အႀကိမ္  တိုင္းရင္း သားလက္နက္ ကိုင္ညီလာ ခံသို႔ တင္ျပ ထား ပါသည္။

CSW urges Burma’s government to stop military offensive against Kachin immediately

Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW) today urged Burma’s military to end its offensive against the majority Christian Kachin people in northern Burma immediately, and called on the international community to put pressure on the government of Burma to engage in a meaningful political dialogue with the Kachin and other ethnic nationalities.

According to news reports, four jet fighters and two helicopter gunships were used this morning to attack Kachin Independence Army (KIA) troops close to their headquarters at Laiza, on the China-Burma border. The aerial attack follows several days of shelling and a significant increase in troop movement and fighting.

The Kachin community in the United States offers our heartfelt congratulations on your re-election and wishes you every success as you continue leading our great nation for another four years. We are writing this letter to you as fellow Americans.

We wish to convey to you our sentiments regarding your impending visit to our homeland, Burma. This trip has historic implications not only because it is the first visit by a sitting US President, but also because it has potential for pressing the government of Burma to enact further democratic reforms and achieve national reconciliation. In the light of these, we want to express the following concerns:
